		Management

	The entrepreneurial team consists of two organic chemists. Both have worked for years in the sphere of combinatorial chemistry and multi-component-chemistry, with intensive contacts to the research industry. Hence they are highly familiar with the requirements of industry.

Dr. Christoph Burdack

He is co-founder of Priaton GmbH and managing director. He is responsible for key account management, scientific coordination and business strategy.

He completed a doctorate with Prof. Dr. Ivar Ugi, at the Institute of Organic Chemistry, Technical University Munich Germany, in 2001. During his doctoral work, he contributed to the development of special MCR to synthesize complex bi- and tricyclic Carbapenams. Further he has been working on new ß-lactam-antibiotics.

He is co-author of “Advanced Macromolecular and Supramolecular Materials and Processes” edited by Kurt E. Geckeler; Kluwer Academic Publishers, January 2003. List of publications.

Dr. Jürgen Kolb

He is co-founder of Priaton GmbH and managing director. He is operating officer, responsible for personnel requirements, scientific coordination and business strategy. Collaborating with Petra Bähr (Finance Manager) he is in charge of finances.

Additional to the studies of chemistry at the Technical University of Munich he graduated in pharmacy and thus he is also acquainted with medicinal research. His doctoral thesis supported by Prof I. Ugi, dealt with natural thiazolic derivates synthesized by multicomponent chemistry. During the time he was able to issue a patent for the one-step synthesis of ß-lactam thiazols.
